This region has been shaped by eruptions and other activities related to faulting, and the super volcanoe that still sleeps below the surface. Beautiful glacial lakes, stunning mountains, and great examples of gelogic activities such as hot springs and crators make Mammoth an area to visit for more activities than skiing.
