A wonderful historic church ruin. Originally burnt down by the British during the Revolutionary war, it was rebuilt. During Sherman's march on the south, the church was burned again by union troops during the US Civil War. It was never rebuilt and the ruins from the fire are maintained as a historic monument. The site also includes a graveyard which holds many important early South Carolinians who were instrumental figures during the US Revolutionary War.
