If you're going to take a trip to Australia, you need to go to Sydney. I was excited to see the Opera House in person after seeing so many pictures, and it is a nice city with the most going on.

I personally think Melbourne is more bustling. Although Sydney is the most picturesse of either of them

Definately worth a look, the harbour is beautiful. You can see the best parts in a couple of days.
